Phuket Thailand

Hi there,

I'm going to be in Phuket next week for the first time. So any help on my questions would be much appreciated.

I'm staying in the Hilton on Karon Beach. I've read loads of posts on this forum but still have a few things I'd like to know.

First I'd like to know what experiences you've guys made with the local girls when taking them back to the hotel. Does the Hilton make any problems when you are bringing company back to the hotel? I've so far only booked a room, together with my mate. Or do you have to have single room's in order to bring some girls with you?

Are there any things I have to be careful about? Any suggestions would be great.

And last, is Karon Beach a good place to start, or should we go straight to Patong? Is there anything happening already in the afternoon? Prices?

Alright, sorry, a lot of questions, but any information does help me having a great time in Thailand. Thanks a lot!!

No chance for bringing girls back to the Hilton. There are many small hotels in the area you can rent for short time 200-400 baht. There are 3 bar areas in Kata karon and it can be hit or miss. If you must stay at the Hilton I recommend a road trip to Patong, rent a inexpensive room for the night, and find a bg and stay over in Patong.

Has this now changed, as the last reports we had was that the property was GF.

PMCD, I'm curious about their change in policy . I was there last october and i thought the staff was very accomodating. I was thinking about staying there in January but would like to hear what your experience was in bringing back a friend. Actually the three hilton properties i've stayed at in LOS have all been pretty good about this.

i stand corrected. My experience comes second hand as I had a friend stay at the Hilton and was given a hard time bringing back a bar girl. A one off problem? I don't have any first hand experience and defer to those who do.
