Question White Sands Resortel

Hello all,

First time poster and this will be my second trip to Thailand first trip was to Pattaya and was a very nice vacation. This time to Phuket I am considering the White Sands Resortel. I searched the forums but could find nothing on this hotel could someone tell me if its a nice place and guest friendly i sure would appreciate any info. By the way since I am new will I get a beer on the house at the Mai Thai Bar? Nice try huh? also I will be coming the week of september 13th think the weather will be any better by then? Is the place empty right now?

Thanks,
Big Mike

Hey Big Mike,

Stayed there earlier this month, new "Boutique Hotel" clean, well furnished, guest friendly, only 800 Baht a night but had lots of problems with things not working in the rooms, stayed there first two days and was moved to three different rooms before getting one where most things in working order, supposed to have a pool but "not finished", the cheaper rooms look out over waste ground / building site, staff were great & helpful, stuck it out for two nights then moved to the Blue Ocean.

Cheers, Robro.

Hi,
i would be visiting phuket in september end, has anyone else stayed at white sand resortel as i'm planning to stay there. kindly let me know your experience if you have stayed there. Also what is the price there as i see robro has mentioned 8oo baht a night , what is the best price you can get for a twin bed room. Any help would be appreciated.
