Good Airfares to BKK

Fly heathrow-bkk(Qatar airlines) via Doha 30th nov(2hrs20mins stop) return 12th december
with a 1hr 25 mins stop on the way back....
£420/626eur(inc delivery of tickets in eu £15/22euro and cc fee)..

i'll be flying aerlingus cork to LHR and back 81euro/£54

Just a short trip to bkk/patts this time..Will be in MTB in the new year...

Never flown with Qatar before but done a search about them on this board and its all good with them

Because this trip was a "last minute" decision , I checked out most of the "consolidators" , Opodo , Expedia etc and the prices they were quoting were ridiculous. As I was looking to fly out in 6 days, I played around a bit with the Emirates website , looking at different times/days/connections. The flights I usually use were going to cost £760 , but by taking later flights on mid-week days I finally got the price down to just over £450 (London-Bangkok). Only had a 2 hour stop in Dubai on the way out , and have a 3 hour break on the way back.

So , if your holiday plans aren't "cast iron" , it is worth checking out different days/times and you'll notice a big difference in price. A lot of the "consolidators" will only pull up the "main" fares which usually have the best connecting times , and won't show prices if you choose a slightly longer connection.

Yeah well,im pretty sure im not the first person to go to LOS on a bankloan and im damn sure i wont be the last...Not everyone has the money to go 4,5,6 times or more in a year.......

Just checked flights for next month for somebody London-BKK and there are some for under 400 Pounds still available.

There's also Kuwait Airways at 394 from LHR but their stopovers in Kuwait are a bit lengthy.
