On my next visit to Patong In February I'm staying in the Green Mansion.

I know it's guest friendly and from what I have read about it on this forum it seems a reasonable stay.

Just wondering if anyone has experience of this place?

Either no one is speaking to me or no one knows anything about it??

I have booked it now so will have to take a chance.

Hi Filo, Haven't stayed there but it was on a short list I was looking at for my November stay. Researched it on a number of forums and got pretty much good reviews across the board...price (value for money), accomodations (good for price) and staff attitude (good).

Only reason it didn't get the nod was cos we ended up going for something with a pool.

I asked the same question a couple of months back and didn't get a responce either! But like the post before me, I did some 'extra' research on other websites and the over-all view was that it was good for the money with great staff.

Im going to stay in December, and have booked up-front initally for a month, but if its not that good or something goes wrong I will just pay the bill up to that point and go somewhere else after peak season. (Dodgers Camel shed?)

So it looks like we could be Hotel buddies come Febuary!

Yes we could sishow; I'm there from 5th of Feb for 17 nights. So if you fancy a few beers and general debauchery I'm up for it

I have stayed there twice. It is great for the price IMO, and the location is good, right by the beach. The AC in the room was so good, I needed to turn it off on occasion. The guys who work the tour desk out front are friendly and funny. Just around the corner up towrds the Holiday Inn is a little massage place that had some cute girls, one of whom offered FS for 1K (which I accepted!!).
I would stay there again on my next trip.
