$8 reduction for Singapore from LAX to Singapore and $2 for Singapore to certain asian cities.
but at least it is a step in the right direction.
Here is what I got from my Singapore Airlines rep.
Due to the recent decline in jet fuel prices, Singapore Airlines will reduce it's fuel surcharges effective 14Oct2006
Changes are as follows:
Reduced from USD 20.00 to USD 18.00
SIN-BWN,BKK,MNL,KUL,PEN,DPS,JKT,HAN,SGN v.v.
Reduced from USD 90.00 to USD 82.00
SIN-LAX/SFO/YVR/NYC v.v
Reduced from USD 60.00 to USD 54.00
For all other sectors
Fuel surcharge remain unchanged for the following sectors:
HKG-SIN v.v.
HKG-SFO v.v.
SEL-SFO/YVR v.v.
SIN-SEL v.v.
SIN-CHINA v.v.
SIN-TPE v.v.
Japan-BKK/SIN/LAX v.v.
