C & N hotel is it good accommodation ???
hi,
i have recently booked a room in the C & N hotel for a week, it seemed a reasonable place with a good location, i just wondered if anyone has stayed there and has any reviews of it, good or bad, feedback much appreciated.

Boy...these guys are being mean to you!
Right on the accommodation forum you will find comments on hotels...I pulled off the C&N for you. A little late to ask about a hotel after you book though:
C & N Hotel, Phuket
I stayed at the C & N Hotel from 10. May to the 20. May. Very nice Staff there, its clean, nobody stress and you can do what ever you like, of course Guest Friendly, had a talk with one of my girls.. take the ID of the guest, so no much risk to steal somethings from a BG or FL.. everytime a smile from the staff. (thaizeman 29.05.2006)
-------------
I'm at C&N hotel in may, 600baht/night
GF friendly? check
Big bed? check
Shower? check
toilet? check
lift to my floor if too pi$$ed? check
(PaulUK 08. March 2006)
------
I stay at C & N Hotel whenever I get to Phuket. It's not luxurious in any sense of the word, but it is clean, comfortable, with Cable TV, Air-con, Balcony (even if the view is into the window of the building next door)!
When I am shown to my room, I always ask that the Mini-Bar Fridge is emptied out, and I sign that nothing has been used. Sometimes, depending who the Porter is, I will get mild protestations, and repeated sentences like 'But is for you'.
I then set the fridge up with my duty-free Vodka, usually a bottle or two of Mekong Whisky, with Coke, and not to forget my ice-cube mould, filled naturally with Bottled water.
Cheers

thanks searanger, i guess it was a bit late booking and then asking, but they never asked me for a deposit so if the feedback was compleately negative i would have cancelled, i did have a rough idea where it was though and had read a couple of reasonable reports about it, so i was'ent to worried, just wanted a bit more reasurance really, anyway thanks for taking the time to reply

VIP rooms better, spacious, beds are a little hard though, but on the whole great location, good value. Safari Beach is better though.

Expat hotel (Soi Sansabi) has a great pool...
Basic enough hotel. No frills and cheap...
Few bad points.
Bad water pressure from the shower and no remote for the telly (BG can sort the latter though.)....

Stayed at the resort and spa two weeks ago, it is comfortable, clean, and the staff are really nice. It was recommended by a BG to me last year. The only problem is thats it was 1500bht a night.
You could do much worse.

Bit far outta town for your mate D'man.....on the road to kata/Karon.....not really stumbling distance from bangla....more like a 100bht tuk tuk (after midnight).....good for Safali tho'..........he can just fall on his side and roll down the hill
