blue ocean resort
Finally off to Phuket in Jan,
 and have been looking at BM opinions/reviews of guest friendly accom. (Thanks to those who posted, info very helpful.) But coudn`t find any thing on Blue Ocean Resort, anyone have any info on this place as it looks great to me, good pool, nice room, quite, but are they guest friendly? any info appreciated

Found a couple of reviews on "Trip Advisor"`, may be of help , hotel is on Soi Kepsup so handy for all the nightlife and the beach. No idea if it is GF or not, why not send e-mail just to make sure.

stayed there last year....as Faulty said soi Kepsap good for nightlife.....5 mins walk to Bangla....2 mins to Christins....but better for whiling away the daylight hours if you enjoy a massage....and 1 min walk to beach
Rooms upstairs are bigger and better......and cost a bit more....but worth it.....downstairs rooms are right on pool so you could hear even the quitest conversation in your room.......... so do not stay poolside...it is a very small pool but quite nice BTW....you can swim up to bar for drink...... The staff are very friendly and will agree to no joiner fee if you ask for one in your email.....that is if you are staying for a week or more.....and then that way no one will hassell you.... There is a guard at the front at night who will check ID etc...... The bathrooms are a bit funny.......kinda grotto style....but are fully functional and clean......the BG's find them good sanuk..... I like the place and the in loom safe is a bonus....
