I did not stay there , but I know the hotel and it looks very nice with a very nice pool, but I think there are better hotels for a less price, for example the Thara Patong Hotel

Holiday Inn

I have stayed before in the main wing not the Busakorn wing, but my friends stayed there and they liked it.

I though it was nice but they have a policy that dies not allow any guest to stay.

Rooms are good but a bit small. The facilities are high with 3 restaurants and a great one in Sams Steak House which I always visit even if not staying at the hotel.

The gym is a bit small, and I prefer the one at the Banthia.

The hotel has a good bar for a drink before your dinner, but it does get very busy during high season and the hotel feels a bit crowded.

Location is also very good.

Baht for Baht I would prefer the Banthai, but that's just my opinion.

Another Hotel acroos the road from the Holiday Inn is the Burasari which is also worth looking at. I stayed there once and the facilities are good but becasue it is smaller it feels more welcming and the service was more attentive than the HI.

Anyway book soon if you are there at Xmas as most Hotels are booked up early.

Good Luck

Regards

Drew

I stayed at the holiday in in May. i was in the Busokan wing. I really had no problem with the place. great room. i had no problem bringing a girl back to my room. But it does look like if you stay in the main part of the hotel, the rules are stricter.

Is the Busakorn wing the higher or lower end (price) of the Holiday Inn?
