New Bungalow hotel on Beach Road??
Last time I was in Patong (Sept 05) I stayed on Beach road right across from The Patong Villa. There was a new Bungalow Resort opening up in early to mid 2006 right on the beach. It was directly across from Patong Villa. Does anyone know the name of this resort and the website?
It looked like it would be nice other than being on the "Gay section" of Patong Beach> The hotel I stayed at was also beach front and it took me about 2 days to notice that "hey... there seem to be a lot of banana hammocks around here with young Thai boys hanging around." I made my way down the beach to where the grape smugglers were limited and the camel toe's were abound!  Cheers, Ashley

I think I know the one Ash.....always thought it was just Patong Resort Villas or something really generic like that...but I can't remember the name......and I can't find it on any maps.....must be too new.........
..... It's not something like The (Patong) Beach Resortel is it....

You could be right. The name, if I remember correctly, was a generic one. It looked like it was going to be rather nice and a PERFECT location right on the beach! Not too many of those in Patong!

This is one of Sunems maps Ashley and it is showing a hotel on the opposite side of Beach Road from Soi Patong Villa as The Beach Resortel.
Not sure if this is the one, but a starting point for you I hope. Patong Map, Phuket, Hotel, Bars The Beach Resortel, Phuket, Offers from 1,420 Baht Cheers Ashley D

Oops! You will have to navigate the map. Focus in then do the hotel search and it will give you a couple of red dots opposite Soi King Fashion and Patong Villa. Thought I had linked to that but it links to the start map.........Man of your calibre..........No problem 55555555

That's the one big D!! Thanks for the research...... I did notice that there were quite a few banana hammocks and oiled up bodies on the beachfront there last time. May that have been you and your MRs?
