Has anyone ever used Gate 1 Travel for their travel plans?

Has anyone ever used Gate 1 Travel for their travel plans? They quoted me $975.00 for JFK (NY City) to Bangkok air and 3 nights hotel for that price, but the air is for a 2 week stay (March 1st - 15th). I wanted the two week to go to southern Thailand to dive, but I figured a couple of nights to start my trip off with and one just before I head home. I'm guessing this is a decent rate, but not sure about the Gate 1 travel people though. I found them on Frommers, so I figured they can't be too bad if they advertise on there. Let me know either way...Thanks.

If you are not going to use the rooms they offer the airfare is then essentially $975. Is that non-stop? Thai Airways is $1150 non stop for the same dates. As it may be the case $175 extra for non stop service is worth it to me. In general stop overs add about 6 hours each way.
