Majestic Grande hotel BKK/Salathai hotel HKT

Just back from 17 nights in LOS.

Stayed 5 nights at the Majestic Grande in BKK and can highly recommend this hotel. Paid 2990 baht per night for standard room so not the cheapest but still very good value for money. Room was very nice & modern. No charge for overnight guest and the breakfast was good. Also good location - it's adjacent to the big Marriot hotel on Sukhumvit and therefore 4 minutes walk to Nana Plaza. Maybe 5-10 min walk to nearest BTS.

Stayed 12 nights at the Salathai resort in Phuket (for second time). Again I can recommend this is as a nice hotel. Paid 3200 baht per night for Junior Suite. Probably would go for a cheaper standard room next time. Friendly staff, nice pool and no joiner fee. Reasonable breakfast. Good restaurant for evening meals. 8 -10 minute walk to Bangla Road. 4 minutes to the beach.
