Kata Bus Service

Has anyone heard if consideration is being given to a bus service between Kata and Patong?

It would be very helpful to people staying at resorts out of Patong and I'm sure that there would be more than enough passengers to support it.

Not very likely, until some people in power grow some balls. Has been tried before, but the driver was pulled from the vehicle and bashed, courtesy of the tuk tuk mafia.

I agree with Steve.The Tuk Tuks have this carved up as their main money route and will not share it with buses.

In any other country there would be a connecting bus service connecting the beaches on the west coast of the island connecting Kata,Karon,Patong,and Kamala.
