Has anyone stayed at or know info on...Kata Sea Breeze or Kata Palm resort.

I am leaning more towards Sea Breeze purely on price, but if any of you have stayed at either of these, any info would be great.

Also, feel free to recommend somewhere else but around the same price (no higher than $65/$70AUD for a twin) in May 07.

Just had a look at both thier websites and that pool at the Kata Palm looks the Dogs Pods!

Both resorty type places but that pool at the Palm does it for me!

Its the only place on our trip that we are allowing ourselves a little R&R as such lol Never stayed in a place like either of them before.
I'm looking forward to using the poolbars...just hope they have them open in May!

I would prefer Kata Palm Resort, you can find it on Last minute Hotel Bookings in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore & Bali with very competitive prices. During low season you can get a room for about 1000 baht incl breakfast for 2.

Think you can forget the pool, looks like a water hole with view to the street, but the rooms are of very good quality and the hotel is about 2 years old. Think the pool is ok, to wash away the salt water and sand when you come back from the beach.

The location is just across the street from Kata Beach Resort, just at the end of the small shopping alley. So you can reach the beach very easy, Kata Mama with its good food is nearby.
