Looking for a 3 bed room villa in Patong
Hi,
I'm coming to Patong in May 2007 with my 2 brothers for a week. I'm looking for a villa preferably 3 bedrooms and walking distance to Bangla Road. Price range around $2000 USD for the week.
I've been through the accomodation lists on the forum which have been very informative but haven't seen anything with more than one room and a good standard.
2 bedrooms would be OK but would prefer 3. When you haven't shared a room with your brother for 20 years - a weeks whoring in Patong is probably not the best place to kick it off again.
So if any one knows anwhere that fits the following criteria let me know:
- 3 bedroom villa (2 at a push) in Patong
- 4 * Standard
- sitting area in villa
- Pool in complex
- Girl frendly
- walking distance to the action
Cheers

I dont know of anything like you describe in that price bracket.. 'villas' generally command a couple hundred USD per day minimum... Real luxury villas command that kind of money daily in high season..
An apartment or 2 bed place with a shared pool is probably possible at that money.. But again.. Nothing walking distance to bangla that I know of..

Couldn't they just go for 3 one bed hotel rooms and stay within the 2k$ budget? if so lots of options, just had to go back and recalculate 2k$ into bahts, yep still reckon they could get 3 one bed rooms okay in May.
So if my math is correct and i'm not just tired and stupid at this time of night, then my advice do a search on the forum for Guesat friendly hotels near Bangla (Summer Breeze, Patong Villa, Yorkshire, Orchid) etc etc (heh forgot Lucky Leks) crazy hotel owner a real laugh.
Whoops sorry Bill will edit out the others soon as I find the button!!!!

Not a villa , and a bit of a longer walk to Bangla but maybe this place would fit your needs.

Well it sure went from 700 USD to 2000 USD fast enough..
2k will get something nice.. However there really are no luxury villas within walking to Bangla.. Luxury villas are not built downtown very often.
I may know of a nice one up on the hill.. will ask..

Rooms are lovely, you can take a 2 bedroom apartment and 1 Superior Suite.
Prices for low season are also good.
Small pool, one cafe that serves meals, also a massage area.

Thanks for the quick feed back guy's...
Looks like it's going to be 3 hotel rooms I think.
However the Swiss Palm Beach looks ok - Is this up towards Graceland (or what ever that huge complex is called that has something to do with Elvis?)
And is it girl friendly?

Yes, it's next to Phuket Graceland Resort and Spa.
Actually behind a Muslim Cemetery. So you wont see it until you walk into the lane beside Graceland.
It is girl friendly.
