great stay again at Summer Breeze

I stayed at the Summer Breeze in early December for the second straight year and had a great time again. From the time the taxi from the hotel picks you up at the airport and remembers you to the time you leave and all the staff says goodbye you will have a great time staying there. Pic is from a summer suite. I would stay there even if it wasn't girl friendly. OK that's BS but it is a great place to stay.

Why does the CSB set its room rates in USD? Or is this just on the website? Introduces exchange rate risk (the USD has depreciated by around 10% the past year versus the THB) and it might be a bit confusing for some customers since payment is made in THB.

PS: Nice pic cooper!

Thanks Joyep, I should have looked into it more.

I think I might try the CSB for my next trip too.

This has to be a good hotel. Apart from C&N in the early days of this forum, no other hotel has had such good reports and reviews.

What a shame there is no pool

Roger, you'd be surprised at the number of people who think thay need a pool and then don't use it (mostly me!), anyway I've lately used the ThaiLife pool wihich is nearby.
Now a lift/elevator - that really would be a benefit .....

Oh I use a pool every day in Patong. Either to get rid of a hangover, or cool down a bit. I just don't fancy walking down Sansabai in my thong, and towel under my arm to Tai life

I agree a lift would be a good move. Any more than the 1st floor is bad news after a good session

What sticks in my mind is "no rooms tomorrow, you must go" ( I, true to form, booked with about 3 hours notice) , so i take my very heavy backpack down from the 4th floor summer suite to reception to be told "ah, hab room, penthouse for 2 night" - ok I'll take it - and then realising that I had to cart my bag up to the 4th floor AGAIN! - to be fair Kathy did offer but I didn't have the heart to accept
Very friendly place with a deservedly good repution.

Yeah, I do agree the sight of you in your thong would ruin the young ladies for the rest of us ..... - doubt any of us would 'score'

Hi,

A bit late with my reply, but I'd just like to agree with other BM's opinions regarding the Summer Breeze.

I stayed there for a couple of weeks in October, and the very warm and friendly staff made me feel extremely welcome. There is such a nice and pleasant atmosphere surrounding the place.

The swimming pool just around the corner is great too, with very nice staff and facilities.

I'd also like to thank the people I met on my night out at the Mai Thai bar, which again was very warm and friendly. Although it's safe to say I'm never again touching those free shots that are served there...they're evil!!!

Cheers.

How much do you have to pay to use the public pool?

I use the pool everyday when i am in Patong. Really refreshing to jump into the pool after breakfast and just relax.

Helps with hangover also.

Cheers.

You get a free pass each day, so no charge.

Hmm... I guess my sight was blurred too much lah. So where is that pool. If you go out of the Summer Breeze then turn left or right?

This time I only used that very big pool with waves opposite of beach road .
