Summer Breeze Hotel in Soi Sansabai
Since i stayd there from 23 Nov to 5 Desember i will write a short note.
A big thanks to Bill for a exceptionally good stay
First days i stayd in the Superior room but afther some days i moved up into the apartment at the top.And i will remember that one, excelent.
And as always the staff at Summer Breeze is great. This time both Bill and Kurt (Bills partner )was there.
The thing i appreciate most is the frendly atmosphere the staff make and how everybody is on the first name with each other from the first day both customers and staff
This time Bill had some friends and partner over from US,and from the first minut is was like, how are you, come and talk with us etc etc.
Make you feel very welcome and always make everybody in a good mood in the bar.
And again the staff is excellent and good fun down to the cleaners.
Restaurant is very good with some good manifoldly dishes
The bar is very good early afthernoon sosial hang out,or to watch a fotty game.
Worth mentioning too is that staying here includes free usage of the BB pool at the end of the Soi.
Great location in Soi Sansabai with al in the walking distance and the chicken
nuggets at Didis late nights Hmm (Thanks for the tips Hobbsy)
Had a great stay and will definitely stay there again.

Nice size room - but, who chose he decor? Upholstery not matching, Murals on the walls, I am sorry but that just makes me want to ...
Of course much more important than the room is the sevice and the ambience, and by all reports that is spot on!

Bill is already aware of some peoples views about the murals but to be honest I've now grown so used to them that I don't notice anymore.
The great staff and excellent service are far more important to me.

I choose my hotel based on the thread count of the sheets.5555555
The hotels that I go to in the Philippines are nice but nothing fancy but the hotel and dive shop staff is very friendly and has been trained well so I like going there and have no problem sending customers there, even some who are used to paying a lot of money for their rooms at a resort.
If you stay at the most beautiful hotel in the world but the service sucks, you'll probably never go back unless you hear that things have changed. And even then you might be a little leery about it.
But as long as a resort is clean and comfortable enough, if the staff is exceptional it can really make your trip. I usually don't spend a lot of time in my room anyway when I am awake.

Don't give a sh*te about the decor/Upholstery, as I'm not normally looking at it 55555

So, what is your point then. These cryptic squids just don't cut it. ie.I personally, have a hard time trying to figure out what you mean really. Every stinking post.
Other than your phantom gay relationship with Alfie (whoever he is ), I understand nada. Sorry, just my opinion......

Strange , I have no problem understanding what Mav was on about , but can't figure out why you bother to post.
If your only reason is to stir things up then it does not reflect well on you , and if you do not like any BM's posts you have the option to ignore them.
........and that's just my opinion.

Today is the happiest day of the year! I just got an unexpected check in the mail, I will be in LOS in March, Summer Breeze here I come. I want to thank all the idiots complaining about the murals on the walls, I will take their rooms. Everytime I have been to the Summer Breeze the hotel is packed with happy guests. I would be going to Pattaya if it wasn,t for the Summer Breeze.
I work at an upscale hotel with room rates averaging about 300 a night and we don't treat are customers as well as Bill and his staff. See you soon

Its easy Tanman, you have a "sense of humour" by-pass.
"Every stinking post" thats a bit harsh isnt it?.
I think faultytowers has you summed up perfectly

Have stayed in both Summer Suites and the top floor apartment - all very nice - must admit I like the murals....
Negative points - Top floor is a bit of a hike, computer in top fl apartment is ancient and should be replaced, bathroom in top floor apartment should be better than 'lesser' rooms.
Plus points - staff are outstanding, rooms are consistantly good, price is good, summer suites are outstanding value, easy(ish) to move around within the property - i.e. late booking will acccomodate if possible

Now back to the Summer Breeze thread! I stayed in one of the Summer Suites for 8 days in October, and I can see how the "murals" may not be to everyone's taste. Need to remember though, that Bill is a Vegas guy and these murals are Trompe l'Oeil (look it up!) and create an interesting effect - the colours can be a bit jarring but they grow on you.
I was a first-timer to Phuket and lucked out by ending up at the Summer Breeze, and didn't realize how lucky I was until I read this forum after my vacation. The combination of location & service can't be beat. It amazed me how you could be this close to the Bangla Rd. action but still have a peaceful environment. Bill and Cathy (perfect manager who shouldn't go unmentioned) set the tone for all the staff who provide efficient & friendly service.
Now for a piece of inside info. for all you newbies - ask for Rm. 108, which is a Summer Suite since they are a real bargain. It's located at the back which means you get no street noise & you also only have to walk up one floor!
