BKK to Phuket
Ok Guys,
Coming to LOS 5 April, going to have a couple of days in Bangkok, then coming to Phuket 7 April till 18th.
Question is, do I book the internal flights now, or wait till I get there. How reliable are the internals, I NEED to be back at BKK for 3.25am flight home on 18 April, so was planning to leave Phuket around midday on the 17th to be safe. Whats the best way of doing this, any advice would be appreciated.

If you leave midday on the 17th you will have more than enough time, even if you get seriously delayed. In fact, with that amount of time to spare I would leave my luggage in the airport, preferably checked in or otherwise in Left Luggage (keep valuables with you), then head for the city for some final fun before going home.

Cheers IJ, I think I'll see what the others want to do, theres 5 booked to BKK up to now, with a possible 2 more to come.
DK good idea, TBH I think we'll leave Phuket miday on 17th and have a last check around BKK, you know, just make sure theres no misbehavin an all that.

Your going around a very busy time so book flights ASAP........ Compare Bangkok Airways with Thai and see what the difference is (I have no idea myself i always use Thai) But in this instance book as soon as you can.

Normally you get a better price when you ask for a connecting flight together with your intercontinental ticket. Depends on the airline. And you can possibly check your baggage through. So you do not loose time picking up your baggage and check in again.
Otherwise the prices with 1-2-go are cheaper than Thai Air. You can book directly on internet, but the booking for the period after march 27 is not yet opened.

Hi Gregor200 I just found the website on google. Thanks a lot for that. The flights are about 60% cheaper than Bangkok air.
Thanks again
