I am living in Greece at the moment and just wondered if anyone had ever flown to LOS from athens?? I have checked a lot of flights and the mid east airlines are similar prices to UK flights but direct flights are V expensive.

I Have done this trip a few times.

Thai air operate a Boeing 777 direct service to Bangkok, not everyday though. But you also have Qatar Air and Emirates both flying out of Athens via there resepctive Emirate to Bangkok. Qatar Airways would have to be cheap.

Also another good option would be to go with Austrian Airlines, as they have a direct flight Vienna Phuket, they are very competative at the moment and if you can fly straight to Phuket that is great, (They only have one or two flights a week straight to Phuket though.)
