Ticketing Agencies. UK - Thailand

As we have a "sticky" for various airlines flying into Thailand, thought it might be helpful for newbies especially to have a list of booking agencies (websites) where its possible to get a reduced price ticket for your next trip.

If anyone has additional info about UK sites please post here, and I will c+p it into this one post.
It is quite often a good move to "join" some of these websites as the latest offers will be emailed direct to you. Check your spam folder

I would also advise using these websites to get a fixed price, then approaching your local travel agent to see if he can beat your price. Sometimes they can.

Finally, when you have a price, use that airlines website and see if you can get the fare cheaper, sometimes it is better to go direct through the airline website. For airline websites LOOK HERE.

If this proves helpful, maybe we can compile another list with sites you can recommend from other parts of the world.

OK The list

Dialaflight
Opodo
eBookers
Expedia
WestEast Travel
Travelbag
Last Minute.com
Cheapflights.com
Benz Travel
Travelmood
Holiday Genie
Travelocity
Singapore Airlines
Trailfinders
TravelJungle
Skyscanner
Travel Supermarket
Sidestep.com
Southall Travel
Emerald Global Limited: Terms & Conditions
netflights.com : Flights, Hotels & Car Hire Worldwide
Kayak

Please post on this thread if you have any other recommendations. Thanks

Since I can't edit the post above, some more comments on flyertalk:
One of the forums is Mileage Run Deals which sometimes highlights 'mistakes' for both flights and hotels, in the last 12 months or so they have highlighted the following (only picked LOS related deals):
Holiday Inn Patong: 0.01 Baht/night
Le Meridien Khao Lak : US$50/night
Bangkok Conrad Presidential suite: US$51/night
Mandarin Oriental Bangkok: US$147.50/night
Flight DUBLIN-BKK FIRST CLASS : US$1108

It's also a great source of info about frequent flyer programmes and how to make the most of your travel.

Another ticketing agency, as recommended by Oneday, for our US members, is the following-

Orbitz: Cheap Travel, Flights, Hotels, Vacations, Car Rentals, Cruises

Another useful site that uses LCCs as well

Cheap flights - low cost and budget airline specialist in Europe & Australasia

Kayak have been excellent for cheap flights the last couple of years. I paid £1600 for SAS business class in '08, flying from my hick local airport, via Copenhagen.

They don't seem to have the same bargains at the moment, but it's worth setting up a fare alert.

Yep, and they have an ad slot at the top of the page. I'll add it to the first post in this thread anyway.

Ads? Sorry I've not seen them, I'm running Adblocker. My apologies.
