Another accommodation thread!
Hey guys. We are looking at booking our accommodation for End of feb. C&N hotel appears to be booked solid. SBH in soi san sabai also pretty full.
We like the Soi sansabai area. Do any of the other guesthouses there provide free access to BB pool at the end of the soi ? I have read the stickys and The Orchid residence seems ok, orchid guesthouse looks a bit older from the web photos. Yorkshire inn appears to be good but expensive in feb for their small rooms. Any Soi sansabai experts out there?
On a final note, i noticed on latestays today a new hotel in Soi Bangla Square, Ricos Hotel Rico's Hotel, Patong Beach, Phuket, Thailand
Anyone stayed / seen this hotel? Seems good price and incredibly central.
cheers all!

I stayed at Patong Beach lodge 2 years ago. Overall not a bad hotel. Decent breakfast, rooms quite good, bathroom very small. Pool, about 5-10 min walk to Bangla, just a bit further than christins. Staff were a little iffy about bringing my gf back. A few disapproving looks but nothing said, as most people there were package tourists. Very well priced low season.

Thanks for the report Ozskin, I was actually thinking about making a bookning for that hotel since my fave travel agency offers package deals with direct flights and transfers, hotel etc for a nice price. But since it seems like they give "the looks" if you bring a sweetie then I'll just go for Victoria, rooms are alike and even the balcony and since you get your own key it's like going "home" every night...
