Wanted: Hire of Yacht

Hi all,

A friend needs to hire a yacht with full crew for a day and night in Phuket and surrounding islands. Does anyone know of any operators or BMs that charter these vessels?

A friend and his fiance will be returning to Phuket in February and he has decided that it is time to make the move in permanent jail time and propose to her.

He initially thought of chartering a speed boat for the day for this occasion but as most of us know if the sea becomes rough, the stability of both person and stomach becomes a concern. And this isnt a favourable picture for that special day.

So a yacht is needed with dining facility and comfortable sleeping area for the two to spend a romantic night at sea with.

Any info is highly appreciated.

cheers,
Andrew

Size and budget ???

I know of a 60+ ft ketch and a 50 - 55ft (swan ??) both will not come cheap..

Then theres some smaller stuff in the 35 - 45 ft range that is more affordable..

Fantastic....

Thank you all for your quick reply. It is very much appreciated.

I will pass these details on to my friend so correspondence can begin. I forgot to mention in the initial thread that this will be a surprise outing to sea for his fiance. Lucky girl.

The charter packages from the sites you have provided are excellent.

Particularly:

Phuket Luxury Cruises "Weekend to Paradise"
Phuket Luxury Cruises with Allasia Yachts

Big A "Overnight Charter"
Big A - Prices, Rates and Charters

I will reply with some quoted prices and final choicing once we have them.

LivinLOS, would be mind sharing the contact detail of your yacht operator. You may pm me if you like.

Thanks again guys. You are a great help.

Cheers,
Andrew

Indian Doaw (spelling?)

I have a friend who fixed up an old Indian dow? that's 55ft.

Last year it ran aground and many people helped push it back in the water the pic was in the gazette.

This year I don't think they have run aground yet and maybe they are improving their sailing skills.

PM me if your interested.

Cheers!
