Hi all, been away from the board for a while. Was nice though to meet some of you BM's during my last trip.

I am coming back to Patong for a couple of weeks in May. During my last couple of trips i have been staying at Sunset Apartments. A really good place which i like alot.

But - i want to try some change of scenery. And this time i think i should make my crawling back from Bangla easier

So, which are the good hotels/guesthouses/apartments close to Bangla. Extreme visitor friendliness is a must

Summer Breeze in Soi San Sabai is hightly recommended

Yep reckon Dawsey's got it in one, I always stayed in Soi Sansabai (once I found it) most convenient soi to Bangla, little bit of talk at th emoment about it getting busier from traffic cutting through, but never ever had any problem from road noise and not much traffic about when you finally venture home.

Stayed again at the Summerbreeze last week and the traffic has increased somewhat since they opened the thru road.....but it's still not a problem walking down the road as the traffic has to go kind of slow due to all the motorcycle parking. One night the bikes were four deep in front of summerbreeze and Som Suk was going crazy trying to keep them all aligned

Capricorn Village. Extreme friendliness is guarantied. After the first night there I had no girl with me, just wanted to get a nice and long sleep in the morning and the first question in the morning from the lady in the reception was "why no lady in loom"?
