"The Place to Stay" Anyone?

Has anyone stayed at The Place To Stay - Phuket, Thailand? It says it's part of the Royal Hotel complex, but appears to be privately owned by the folks that own Cocktails & Dreams (yes, I plan on partaking there as well).

Just wondering if anyone has stayed there, and if so, any opinion?

Thanks,

Mark

I have a hunch the "friends" you will meet there will not be of the female kind.

If you're asking if I'm going to check out the ladboys - yes, I am. And the women elsewhere as well.

I really don't have a problem with anyone's persuasion. I"m just looking to find a nice hotel that I can relax in. I can't find any reviews of this place anywhere, so I thought I'd ask here.

Thats cool then. Sorry, cant help with that hotel, but the website portrays it as pretty nice looking.
Have a quick look at your other post today, I replied on that and maybe you'll find what you are looking for.

At least you found this forum before booking, unlike me before my first trip. I made a big mistake by not checking it out first.

Thanks Dawsey! This board is fantastic. I promise not to ask too many newbie questions and always do a search before I ask!

I havn't stayed there, but I did like the look of another place in the same area. I'm not persuaded that way, but like the info thats posted on the site. I may consider it as a place to stay as my GF likes the company of gay males... check this out.. Connect Guesthouse - Room for rent
