Stayed there for about 7 weeks last year Feb-Apr....

The Bad:

The dirt track leading up to it is hellish, v.steep....esp after we had had lots of rain just made the ruts and holes even bigger...Not the type of place you will enjoy walking to/from. We had a car tho (which had a rough time getting up there). (note: no idea if road is still like that, owner mentioned it was going to get tarred).

Its a bit out of the way of everything (if your looking to be in the heart of things).

The wireless internet was a bit problematic, got talking to the owner one night (who seems to be permanently drunk but a really nice and v.intelligent guy) who informed me his tech guy had configured everything wrong so they were getting massive packet loss. It did improve over time.

There was a condo project being built in front of the place, talking to the owner one night again he was saying how pissed off he was, as he didn't have the cash to buy all the land at once, but he wanted to put tennis courts down later on where the new condos now are. If your wanting a sea view gonna have to be on at least the 4th floor. Building work was not noisey however, at least I didnt notice it that much. (Note: By now it could all be finished)

The Good:

Great spacious and clean rooms.

Staff V.Friendly and helpful.

Even with the condo project you have great views of the surrounding areas. Behind the resort and to its side its pretty much all trees covering the hill side. So nice and scenic when your in the pool.

V.Quiet, its no where near the main road or other bars etc.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite and as we stayed so long they knocked a hefty percentage off the advertised price (I asked them).

If you want to PM me and Ill send you some pix we took from the place.

Nice hotel

I stayed there this past summer. As was said in the previous post you need to be on the fourth floor maybe third to have ocean view. Breakfast was fantastic. The road to the hotel was paved, althought it was a small one.
I enjoyed the rooftop pool, I was able to use my own cd's using their stereo system.
A good hotel. I will go again.
