In need of accomadation....
Well this is my first post so I would like to say G'day to everyone...
 I will be flying into Phuket (Patong beach) on the 26th of April and i was wondering If anyone could give me any opinion on where to stay for a week??? I have been there before which was great, as I stayed at the Amari Coral Resort. Not very girl friendly (1000 baht p/night) but very enjoyable to say the least. I do not want to sound like a tight **** but I would like a room with a balcony, saftey box, GF friendly (no charge on overnight stays), a pool would be an advantage...... I am only stopping here for a short time as I am on my way to England to catchup with a few friends..... Any help would be great... Cheers,

Faultytowers posted a very good link that gives opinions of hotels visited by forum members Two budget hotels with most of your needs met are KN Guest House, perfect comfort and location, Phuket Island Welcome To Jintana Patong - Phuket Patong Beach - Thailand If your budget is higher I'd suggest Phuket hotels and resorts - Salathai Resort - Pictures and Facilities All are guest friendly
