Nok Air.
Air Asia known to be a little unreliable with last minute cancellations and delays. A nightmare if you have to make a connection back home.

Plus in BKK you have to take those buses to and from the plane with Air Asia. Really annoying. I'm assuming I can walk on and off with Nok and planning on using for my next trip up.

nok air tend to be more reliable.but if you are making a connection to an international flight make sure you give yourself a few hours leeway with either because of delays etc.

Would take Nok every time ( and do!) in that situation. Same day connections to international flights, I only take Thai.

If you are going Nok Air be aware of the luggage policy.I paid enough for two extra bags that I should have flown Thai Air.

up to you, up to you!1 both as good or bad as each other in my opinion, if it went to a vote go for Nok Air, slightly more reliable timewise, but only a tad.

Nok

Yeah Nok would be the choice. Had my share of cancelled and delayed flights with AA. Better to go with the more reliable than the cheapest, it allways costs you in the end anyway.

If I read all the comments here, I am glad I booked NokAir for my flight from BKK to Udon Thani...

I have used both Nok and AA in the past year, and Nok provided me with a better flying experience.

The 'Nok Plus' seating for an extra 500THB is pretty good. You get a baggage allowance of 30kgs instead of 15kgs, you get a snack meal on the flight, a drink, more comfortable seating, and the Nok hostie will sit on your lap during take-off if you ask nicely.
