Could be your credit card is not authorising the payment. I'd give them a call and tell them what you are trying to do.

Hi

When booking my Nok air flight from BKK to Phuket (flight is tomorrow) I found they would not accept my visa debit card and had to use my credit card instead.

Booking Online with NokAir

Hi there

When I tried booking with NokAir last year I found that it would not accept an international credit card (Visa). This suggested to me that it will only accept local cards.

That is strange, because when I booked my trip through the website of NokAir (December '06) , I could easily use my Visa credit card which is issued here in Holland. I even have their payment confirmation, so it should work.

EVA also can't accept debit card purchases, only via credit card.

Same same with me too.

I don't think it's to do with the c/c ...........More like to do when you enter your country other than Thailand.

I was doing a HKT-BKK trip & was in Phuket trying to book online & got knocked back cos of card.

I found my way to a travel agent who booked for me & she told me upfront there'd be a 100b fee for her services..........No problems & all was sorted.

My recollection is that Nok Air 'fixed' the problem in using a foreign CC in December last year.

But it seems there are still some unresolved hassles here and there with their booking systems. It's a shame, because they are a good airline. But they won't get people flying if customers are inconvenienced/incapable of using the internet to book a flight.

I used NOK air last week and had no problem at all with booking and paying by credit card (USA card). At the airport when I left Phuket however, they had a 1.5 hour delay as they changed planes due to some undefined problem in Bangkok. Impressively I thought, they refunded the extra 535 baht I had paid for NOK plus as there were no NOK plus seats on the aircraft - some may say that is normal, but hey, TIT...

Actually, if you try to book online, many times the NOK plus is full, but it must actually be that there isn't a "business class" on that aircraft. That had me stumped for a while, I must admit, how NOK plus could always be sold out! But in my opinion, it is definitely worth the extra money, much more comfortable, if and when available!

Cheers, Ro-baht

Had many problems a couple of weeks ago booking with a UK cc. Seems now if you phone them to book you have to have previously faxed them your card details.
Eventually went into a travel agent (this was in Udon) who booked the flight for no commission (from me at least).
