Patong Premier or Leelawadee?

Trying to decide between the two... the prices are about even for the room I'd get. Patong Premier seems to be a bit closer to everything.

Leelawadee has no joiner fee, Patong Premier said they wouldn't charge me the 300/night joiner if I book double occupancy (which is 200/night extra).

I figure I can get them to drop the fee, I read some people got them to by asking when booking. Either that or tell them i'll pay the 200/night double occupancy but they better include a free massage each night

So it comes down to the service/room quality and location. Couldn't find many reviews on Patong Premier so if anyone has an opinion on it, I'd appriciate it.

If anyone has seen or stayed in both that would be great also.

Thanks!

Hello angelo, I am also intending to stay at the Leelavadee and I stayed there allready 1 year ago, they have good and clean rooms and a good powerfull shower and also no joiner fee but everything is changing in Patong and I am thinking also about the Royal Phawadee hotel at Sawatdirak road, it is a little bit more closer to Bangala road and the beach, but from Leelavadee it is also 2 minutes by taxi motorbike.

I really like Leelavadee Boutique resort. It has high quality rooms with quiet and good a/c. It has as well a nice pool where you can relax easily in the morning or in the night, 555

The Royal Phawadee does look nice and is in a very good location. I will consider them as well, thanks!

I stayed at the patong premier few a few days about a year ago and was not overly impressed at the quality for the price. I have a few health problems and so the stairs wre a real trial.
The staff were not very friendly and the pool was not kept clean( when swimming the water had a slightly oily feel to it!!!)
the only good things wre the restaurant (French/ Thai) and the location.
Over all, would not stay there again!!!

Thanks for the info. I haven't seen any other negative reviews but oily pool water is certainly bad.

I can't be certain but I have a feeling that the Leelavadee and the Leelawadee are two different hotels,if so then you may be confusing the two.

The Leelavadee Hotel and the Leelavadee Boutique Resort are two different hotels. You can check the Leelavadee Boutique Resort at Last minute Hotel Bookings in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore & Bali. It is definitively guestfriendly.

Yes you are right except that one is spelt with a "w" and the other with a "v". Here are the links to their respective websites leelawadee for the Leelawadee and Hotels in Patong, Phuket: stay at the Hyton Leelavadee Resort Hotel for the Leelavadee.
