BYD Lofts?

Hello BM's!

Does anyone know if the BYD (or Baan Yin Dee) Lofts are guest friendly?

Cheers.

Baan Yin Dee Lofts is their rental apartments, not a hotel

Baan Yin Dee hotel is GF, but I would use discretion because not many people take visitors back and its a small hotel

I know BYD lofts are rental apartments and not the Baan Yin Dee Hotel.

They are renting some of the apartments out on a per night basis.

That is why I asked the question...

Thumbs up Ok

Yes they are OK.

They have only just opened. I met Hans the Hotel and project owner/deigner in December, when I had a look at them.

They are great aprtments, and operate on the basis of a Hotel, where they have reception staff downstairs and a nice Restauarant.

There are 2 options you can buy and furnish it yourself and you can stay, or you can buy and take the Hotel furniture package and they will rent it out for you whilst you are away (so you will have to take all you things with you when you leave)

The build quality and faciliities are outstanding, and they have a pool on the roof. I am going to have another look at buying one next month, they have about 3 or 4 left.

Baan Yin Dee Lofts, Patong - Phuket

The Deli Supermarket (the best kept secret in Patong) is also just over the road, where you can buy many of the little food luxuries that you miss from home, and a great wine and beer cellar.

The Deli Supermarket in Patong Beach Phuket Thailand.

The Lofts are at the quiet end of Town, but the beach is only a few minutes walk away.

Go ahead and book it so you can let us know what it's like,

Regards

Drew

Do you know their asking price for buying or for long time rent? I asked the receptionist but she couldn't tell me.

All sold out as far as I know. Some units are still hold by the investors for 'own' use. they might come on the market later.

Have to add, for the present pricing one of the best properties to stay. Very nice appartments. Restaurant good and I realy like the bar/lounging area.

All still not 100% finished though....

Used the restaurant. German chef. I thought the menu choice was rather small and the staff quite unexperienced. Food was good.

Smile Price

The units were originally priced at about 6 million Baht, but the 4 that they had left in January were priced at around 11 to 12 million.

They had 3 still for Sales in February and their long term rates are subject to negotiation. You can email for info from their site and they will get back to you.

I looked at staying their in April but for one person they were quite expensive, if their were 2 of you or a family then they would be a place I would really like to stay in.

But if anyone has stayed then please let us know what you thought.

If I buy then I don't think I would want to rent the unit out (I will view it as an investment and hope to get the return when I sell). I don't like the prospect of someone damaging the property or the bed or the fact that it will feel like a Hotel Room.

I would like a place I can call home, where I can leave my clothes and possesions and even my favourite beer and food in the fridge, so all I need to bring each tiome is my laptop, and just walk into my secnd home....great feeling.

Regards

Drew
