Phuket Thailand - Thai A340-500 aircraft

Apparently Thai are looking at selling off these aircraft, so that will mean the nonstop USA services will be canned, unless they swing their 777-200ER's onto the route, but this would be very surprising.

They have 3 A340-500's at the moment and 1 more hasn't even been delivered as yet. A very common theme with airlines not being totally happy with ultra long haul airbuses.

I read that it was coming back in January and you also posted that on 07-01-17 so it should not be a surprise.
