Rumor about Benjamin Resort in Kamala

Hi all,

I heard a rumor about Benjamin Resort in Kamala.
It sems that there was a large braw a few days or weeks ago, many problems with the police and a bar located beside the hotel ... and now there is no more safe box or refrigerator or TV in the rooms ...

Anyone here has information about Benjamin and what it really happens there ?

I planned to go there in May and now I ask me questions ...

Thanks
Domi

Benjamin OK

Hi Paulo,

I staid in Benjamin resort 2 weeks and everything is really OK.
Staff is friendly, the rooms are cheap (I paid 400 bath/night) with refrigerator, aircon, bathroom, laundry service ...

My ex girlfriend wanted I rent a home so she lied me about Benjamin. Next time, I will be back there.

Enjoy your trip in June.

Thanks

Have you stayed anywhere else in Kamala and if so how does it compare ? Are the rooms at Benjamin's close to the beach - do they all have a balcony ? Is there any need to book for June ? Is there cable TV ?
Thanks for your advice

Hi Paulo

Benjamin is just close the beach and the bars but now Kamala is really really quiet till november.
In Benjamin, they have cable TV with BBC World and 1 or 2 other English TV

I staid before in Kamala Bay Terrace Resort but more expensive.

You can find very nice rooms in Kamala Dreams, 100 meters away from Bejamin for 700 bath/day. 300 bath more than Benjamin but the rooms are bigger and the hotel is more modern.

You dont need to book a room in low season in Kamala, so you can stay in one hotel for your first night and see other rooms the day after.

Hope this help you
