Looks like a couple of really cold days but forecast say's it won't last long.
From BBC website:
Quote:

Saturday 17 March EARLY WARNING A cold snap is predicted to arrive over the weekend. The Arctic air will sweep in during Sunday. Daytime temperatures will be dramatically lower than those experienced recently. Bitter winds and snowfall are expected early next week, especially in Northern areas

Could someone please sort this weather out before I get there, paid for my tickets now, only coming home to see mumma and sort out a super visa. Got no warm clothes, havn't been even slightly chilly for 15 months, don't want to go and now fecking snow storm. Tirak wants to come now I've told her about snow, why do I not look at sensible stuff like weather reports, all I was thinking of was making sure I got back in time for the wedding of the year!!

Yes it is going to be cold you may get a chance to use your skis.
I really hope it does warm up before the end of the weekend as i am flying on the 24.03.07 and don't like big changes in temp normally end up getting a cold.

It's Saturday evening and I'm at home here on the outskirts of Cambridge UK, fresh back from my seven month stint in Thailand and that north wind has a real icey feel to it. Bloody gorgeous weather all week while I was racing at Cheltenham.
Yes, show is expected in the north..Good, serves em right for living there !

I head back to the UK (Manchester and Lincoln) early next month and must admit that snow in April is a bit 'different'
Then again, the UK is a Northern hemisphere country and should expect a bit of snow now and again and it amazes me, even at my ripe old age just how my country can't cope with a smattering of the white stuff!
We used to look forward to the snow!

A bit of a shame that weather change really. I just go used to the upcoming Spring feeling.
No snow, but strange temperature drops. Was driving the M4 yesterday and it was 7 cels. One minute later it was rain/snowing and 0.5 cels. 5 minutes later up to 6 again.
Luckily they forcast spring back around/after coming weekend.
