It is the same rules for most any airports now, so if you are passing through an airport , beeing in transit, you cannot carry anything else than this.
Every bottle of liquour will be taken from you, when you try to pass the security-check (Copenhagen, Stockholm for me).
So the rules now must be to buy your tax-free goods when arriving at your destination.

The way I read it, is that you can't take liquids bigger than 100ml through screening, but Duty Free can still be purchased or collected after screening to take on board. I guess the Duty Free retailers are trusted.

Brandy !

Yes... I learnt about this when connecting with my UK flight at Amsterdam last month, as I was passing thru security to make my connection they pulled me to one size checked my hand baggage, put the small liquids and creams in a plastic bag and confiscated the 4200 Baht bottle of champagne brandy purchased from King Power in Bangkok
To say I was pissed off is an uderstatement although I shut up when they said one more word and you're off the flight

What purpose is that little plastic bag supposed to serve

I had the same problem in Amsterdam coming home after Xmas, I bought a bottle of whiskey in Bkk but I was lucky I had a small carry on bag with me so I went out and checked it into the hold or Iwould have lost it.

Question is who gets all the drinks they do confiscate?
