Phuket Thailand - Best hotel for 130-150$/night ?

Hi guys,
I'd like to go to Phuket in April, for 3 weeks.
Could you please tell me what is the best hotel i can have with a 130-150$/night budget ? I'm looking for an hotel with a very quiet (and close) beach, and of course "not too far of the action" .
Or let me ask you this way : if you had this budget, where would you go & why?!

If you mean 130-150$/night budget US, I would recommend Patong Bay Garden Resort It's one of only two Hotels that are right on the beach.
You can get a Andaman Studio Room and walk out your door right on the beach.
I stayed there in FEB and loved the place It's a 5 Min walk to Bangla and also girl friendly!!!!!!

There are more than 2 hotels on the beach in Patong. You have Impiana Phuket Cabana, Patong beach Bungalows, Patong beach Resortel, another one and then Patong Bay Garden Resort. Impiana is the best, but not GF. Then I would suggest Patong Bay Garden. Breakfast is crap but if you book a double room (2 persons) it is GF. Go for a junior suite, nice big room on the first floor. Don't take the ones abobe the lobby (old) but ask for one in the 2 wings.
