I will be arriving in Singapore at the end of the week on an Emirates flight and then joining a Tiger flight a couple of hours later to BKK.
Can anyone tell me if Tiger fly out from the same airport that Emirates arrive at, or do i have to commute to another area for the low cost carriers?
Both my Emirates and Tiger tickets use the airport code SIN, so hopefully it all happens at the same place.

Tigers has been shunted out to the LCC now.. Wont be flying them again if I can fly jetstar from Changi main.

Theres a fast efficient bus service (Hey its Singapore not Bangkok) from Downstairs on T2.. So its not like being way out..

You go to Budget Terminal to depart on Tiger, you will need to clear customs in T1 or T2. Budget terminal has all the needed facilites, but its really just a big shed. The departure taxes are cheaper as well.

BTW, approximately how long does it take to clear customs and get to the budget terminal. I know it will vary depending on how busy it is but just a ball park figure would be helpful. I've got plenty of time on the way over but only about 2.5 hours between arrival and departure on the way home

Changi is very efficient. Can't remember how long, but it was quick. Budget terminal is maybe a 1km away from T1 and T2.

Last time I was at Changi coming from AMS, it took me all 20 minutes to walk out of the SQ plane, pass the immigration, collect my luggage and went out.
Most of the international fllights arrive in terminal 2.
Tiger Airways and most of the other low budget carriers, depart from the so called "Budget Terminal". Am not sure if there is a shuttle bus service, but by taxi it is about 4-5 minutes.

Like Biofoz mentioned, the Budget Terminal is just a big hall. But you have enough food/drink shoks there and also a couple of free-use internet terminals.

There is a Shuttle Bus to the Budget Terminal and it departs from the basement level of Terminal 2. Here is a map which shows the 3 terminals and gives a good guide to the layout. As has already been said, Changi is very efficient and it should not take long to exit Terminal 1 or 2 and get across to the Budget Terminal.
