Andaman Sea Guesthouse
I can not say anything bad about the Andaman Sea Guesthouse. I had contacted the owner Mr Flo, but showed up somewhat unannounced. Mr Flo did whatever possible to ensure I had accommodations. The first night I stayed there he personally walked me around Patong and introduced me to his circle of friends. He made sure that I knew where to go and had a familiar face to turn to if he was not available. I stayed in Phuket for three months and in that time I stayed at the Andaman Sea Guesthouse two times, each time for a week. The rooms were, spotless and very comfortable. The food was outstanding and affordable. The cook (Aiw)often would go out of her way to cater to my tastes. Mr Flo would go out of his way to make you feel at home. He often put on huge feasts for the guests and friends of the Andaman Sea Guesthouse. One day he and I spent the day cooking a big feed of Chili Con Carne for everyone in his suite. The staff there became like family. If I had a problem they were more than happy to assist or at least give advice. the staff members are as follows...Derinie(Mr Flo's incredibly shy Girlfriend).Mint, who ran the desk,(my adopted sister) gave me a pet name, but would occasionally run small errands for me to the whiskey store. Chai (the security man at night) would ensure that guests (usually intoxicated) knew that they had indeed brought home a real woman. Tuki( the soft spoken but beautiful cashier in the bar) Sony the play station( beautiful and funny young lady) always entertaining. Ducky( pretty lady with razor sharp wit). Mon( my adopted mom) 50+ Years old and still sexy. Last but not least Dernies beautiful nieces. Nim(Hot enough to melt steel, with a smile that would stop your heart) and her equally beautiful sister Jo. These ladies ensured that I was taken care of at all times. My stomach and glass were always full and I could count on anyone of them to try to beat me in a game of pool or just converse. The return guest were a delight to socialize with, very friendly clientele. The Andaman Sea Guesthouse was often a great escape from the bustle of Bangla Road. It was a great place to relax, play some pool and hang out with friendly familiar faces. I would have no hesitation about going back there as a guest. The service I received there far exceeded some of the more expensive places I stayed at. That is why in three months you could find me there every day. I recommend this canadian oasis highly.
