Hotel in phuket in august for a month

Hello Lads, Im coming over to Phuket at the end of August for a month,can anyone recommend a half decent hotel at a good rate please ?

In low season most guest houses and smaller hotels will do you a monthly rate package.

Best just to pitch up. Stay somewhere for 600baht or so first night. Get a motorbike next day or walk round and negotiate at ones that take your fancy. August is the peak of low season so you'll get some really good deals. Last year same time Vises Hotel was 6000baht for a month but you'll get somewhere a lot better for 10 - 12k.

I know the Orchid Residence and the Orchid Guesthouse but have not heard of Orchid Inn.

Orchid Residence - that's the one, for some reason I keep adding the inn as there is a place (Orchid Inn) that I stay at in the Philippines as well...
