Summer Breeze Hotel
Well I just got home from my trip to Phuket, I stayed at the Summer Breeze last week and I love that place!
Bill and all the staff are very friendly! The room itself was very clean and had a great layout.
I will definetly stay there when I am back in June or October whenever I can make a return trip.
thanks Bill.

I'm a Summer Breeze fan. Great location. Wi-Fi. Visitor friendly. I watched the Superbowl there this year!
I'm wondering if there is a great resort that is ridiculously off-season priced for May? It would be great to have a swimming pool and be mongering friendly.

Safari Beach has a pool and Wifi.. Summer Breeze doesn't have a pool on site but they give you access to a pool like 2 doors down and it is fine.
My vote goes to Summer Breeze, you can't beat the service and staff of Summer Breeze.

Staying here at the moment for the 2nd time, I agree with every1.
WIFi is great, Bill & Staff great, just going to pool after writing this which is 1 min walk away.
This the only place I will stay here now.

Good move Swichtz, just stayed there in a suite room for 8 days and it was great. The staff are brilliant and if you rent a bike and park it out front, Somsak, the nightman will even move it backwards and forwards across the road every night (alternate parking days) so you don't end up with a fine if you sleep in late. Highly recommended.

Last time out, I stayed at the S.B. for nearly a month and everything was just great! For most of my time there, I was in room 202, which is a Summer Suite that overlooks Soi Sansabai. Since it was my first time there and I didn't quite know what to expect, I had only booked my room for a week to feel it out. Once I knew everything was good, I then extended my stay for another few weeks. However, in order to accomodate me (keep me in a Summer Suite) they had to switch me to another floor. I then moved to the 4th floor (I forgot the room number, but it was to the right - last room on the left).
Both rooms were bright, clean, and spacious. The 4th floor Summer Suite was actually a little bit nicer than room 202. From what I remember, it had better decor, a bit of a bigger shower area and two ceiling fans. However, the view out the window wasn't as nice and the hike up the stairs was a bit of a hassle (especially when I forgot something in my room and didn't realize it until I made it down to the lobby ). But, everyone here already knows the higher floor situation. I remember thinking to myself, I guess it only makes it fair to make the 4th floor room a tad nicer for the extra effort it takes to get up there.
The only negative thing I can think of was when I was staying on the 4th floor, I could easily here the guests in the room next to me, while I was my bedroom area. There is a connecting door next to the bed, which is more like a closet door, that has about a 1 inch space at the bottom. So sometimes it didn't feel so private. I was talking with Bill's business partner one morning about it and he told me they were aware of it. I can't remember what he said, but I think they have plans to rectify that problem. Room 202 didn't have that issue because it's located next to the stairwell. With that being said, both rooms were perfect for my purposes.
I really liked the lobby area. It has about a million ceiling fans, so it is always very comfortable sitting out there. I loved sitting at their big tables near the street and having my morning fruit shake and coffee. The big flatscreen TV was a plus and I loved how they have a computer with free internet access for all of the guests.
Now I enjoy working out, using saunas, and going swimming while I'm on vacation. I never used the pool that you get free access to down the soi, but instead got myself a membership at Tailife. I found it to be a very nice place to unwind. To get there, you can cut through one of the restaurants across the street, so it only takes about 30 seconds to get there from the S.B. lobby.
Bill, Kathy, Somsak and the rest of the staff were just fantastic. The receptionists and bartenders were extremely friendly and helpful when I needed something. The cleaning ladies were always joking around with me and always kept my room in tip-top shape. For the price, location, and overall quality this place was just outstanding! Thanks S.B. staff!
For those S.B. experts out there, I have a question for you...
For my next trip I think I'm going to go with a Superior room to save a little money. Do you know if there is a Superior room that overlooks Soi Sansabai? If so, is there one on the 1st or 2nd floor?
Thanks!

SB is great! You and I have stayed in a same room. Not telling which one, but I have booked same room for April.
I echo your views on staff etc. I just can't wait to get back and say hello to all.

Stayed in the Penthouse at SB a coupple of months ago. Absolutely the bogs dollox mate. GF loved it, can think of many complimentary adjectives and no downside. If its free, book it. Thats my advice.

Room 101 is a summer suite overlooking the Soi and is my favourite so far other than the PH. And its next to a little balconmy where you can go for a fag if you dont like smoking in the room (like me!!) Better than a superior room IMHO and not much more.

During our last stay, we had room 101, which is a superior room (not a suite, Dennisinspain) on the 1st floor overlooking Soi Sansabai. Great room and I would like to have it again, when we return one day.
I saw the suite of room 102, and it is nice too, but the superior room will suit me just fine.

Stayed in 107 last trip , superior room at the back , not much view (side of Jungceylon) but nice and quiet.
