Athens?
Right just booking my tickets for Athens, But not sure where is the best part of the city to stay?
So kinda need some advice from anyone who has been there and kinda knows the best places for the nightlife and what would be considered centrally located? And I kinda need this info quick as possible as this will be a kinda rushed booking, Got some cheap flights into Athens and will be staying there from the 19th - 28th May and hopefully pick up a few tickets along the way for the Champions League Final  PS: This gonna be a good summer, As I leave for Thailand on the 13th June for 6weeks also

The Plaka is the best area. has a view towards the Acropolis.

Ally, been a while since l was there, but l stayed in an area right near Victorias (a little North of the city centre underground station and it was quite nice around there..........a lot of other places l seen in Athens looked pretty edgy.
Piraeus looked an interesting spot....it's the main port of Athens and is South of the city.

The Plaka definately is the place to stay. A nice central location plus the suvlakis are great
Pireas is the point to all of the great islands.. Yasu.....

I would stay in glyfada, thats where the nightlife is.... watch out for all the bloody ******s... russian biatches all over the place, they aint exactly petite lolitas! more like big cows, greece is the country that got most of the prostitutes from russia so some of em should be nice, at least after a few Mythos beer, the best beer in the world! / george the greek!

Have a good time and good luck....
We were terrible on the night, realistically we lacked imagination and to be honest most other things. We didn't deserve to win that tie or the premiership this season.... However there will always be next season

Actually finding a hotel in Athens is going to be another problem, We are all booked up but have no accomadation and there are no hotels on any websites for the days around the game, So we could be out on the streets for 3 nights aswell  Unless anyone knows of a hotel or B&B with vacancys in Athens?????????

So just one day and night on the street, The day of the match and final so not much need for a hotel because were gonna be out celebrating all night with a little bit of luck

Then we will still be quids in and got an extra few days on holiday aswell, Would never book through them agents, They are money grabbing bastards and should not be allowed to sell them tickets for 1000 euro when they get them for 60-130 quid... Its bad enough the touts doing it but legit buisnesses should not be allowed to fleece people like that!!!
