Dynasty grande inn bangkok vs majestic grande hotel

hi i need some help in deciding what hotel to pick in bangkok.

The two im considering is the dynasty inn grande and the majestic grande .
The Mj costs about £45 per night whilst the DIG costs £35.

Im not sure what i should do , on price alone im saving 40 quid which is ok i suppose has anyone stayed in the dynasty grande inn before if so what are your opinions of it ???

, whats important is the swimming pool and sunlight as i wont to top up the old tan b 4 heading back home. and also a gym not a pansy one..

Ive stayed in the MJ b 4 so i know what im getting ,

also does anyone know how i can book the Dynasty as it does not have a website ? i considered the dream but the rooms seem small but nice and also not swimming pool

thankyou

I have stayed at both places. As far as the rooms they are about equal. The pool at Dynasty Grande seemed a bit larger and was on the south side of the hotel, where the pool at the MJG is on the north-east side. I did not spend much time at either pool, but would think the DG pool being on the south would have more sun. The distance from the hotels to Nana is close to the same, perhaps a bit longer from MJG. The breakfast at MJG is better than DG. Close call, but I would opt for Dynasty Grande

The MJG does not have joiner fee for 1 or 2 guests. Do not know about 3 or more
DG does not have joiner fee for one and has 500 baht fee for 3 guests. Do not know about 2 guests.

Here is a web site for Dynasty Inn Hotels, including Grande in Bangkok. Click the reservation link on the left, then select Grande.

kool thanks for the help what room did u stay in ?, in the MG i stayed in the premier i think the one with a seperate shower and tub i liked it .

I think im sliding towards the dynasty inn , as its a bit cheaper and if its bascially the same then whats the point in spending extra , i guess.

Think im going to spend about 4 days in patong so may well me seeing some bms in the MTB , only problems theres a BG in the bar opposite the MTB that may give me evils or mabye kill me as i dont speak to her anymore ...

Both my stays at MG an DG was in one of the better rooms (may have been deluxe, I forget). At both the hotels the rooms that O has was with separate shower and bath tub; which I really like and am willing to pay extra for. Actually it came in handy the we were to may to fit in the shower we could split up a use both the tub-shower and the regular shower.
