Hotel with pool for less than 1500 Bht
Is there a thread with all the hotel info in?
The sticky thread is closed and out of date, lots of dead links and so on.
Just looking for a decent place with pool.

I stayed at Phuket Resort, Phuket Spa, Patong Resort, Patong Spa, Patong Apartment, Resort , Spa , Accommodation, Phuketresortandspa, Patong Mansion, Patong Guesthouse, Patong Beach, Tropical, Life Spa, Sea View Resort, Tropical Resort, Phuket, Thailand. (C&N resort and spa) back in february. Good pictures of hotel on Hello Phuket Hotel : book now your room in a Phuket hotel (island in Thaïland) .
Hotel has a Very nice pool. Standard rooms are 1000 baht for low season and the rooms were excellent.
Also I have booked Tropica Bungalows for August. Rooms or bungalows starting at 800 Baht. This hotel is MUCH closer and you are one block away from Bangla Road - beach end.

Try a quick search of ....
Look on sawadee or hellophukethotel or latestays.com to find a fair selection of hotels with pools in the 1000 to 1500 price range in low season
I'm suprised the Poppa Palace wasn't mentioned in the above post?

By default the board software automatically retrieves the title of a website and replaces the address you typed with that. Normally it works great and is easier to read. This hotel "stuffed" the title with web search entries. You can disable that feature on a post-by-post basis.
Here is the same link as you typed it: http://www.poppapalace.com/

There was only 3 hotels there Flopply. I am booked at Poppa Palace and Tropica Bungalows for my next vacation. Both hotels were booked for under 1500 Baht, and have a pool.
Will write a report on each when I get there.....

I'm staying at the Summerbreeze where there is a free pool about 150 yards away. The pool is huge. There is hardly ever anyone there. The food is great and cheap. Beer is 60 baht.
You have to pay 30 baht for a cushion for the beach chair. There is a hotel under construction next door so it can be a little noisy. I listen to my iPod.
I don't see how you can get a better deal for 750 baht a night and guest friendly.
Staying with a bunch of BMs can be trying with all the drinking and mongering

This must be it... Paripas Mansion - Guesthouse Hotel Patong Beach Phuket Thailand
Good tip...
Baantonsai Garden Resort was top of my list (for my intended long stay in aug/sept) till I seen Paripas mansion. Paripas M looks to be a lot closer to Bangla...

Tropica Bungalows can be booked for around 700-800 baht a night. if you look at www.passionasia.com or www.hello-phuket-hotels.com
You can literally crawl from Bangla back to hotel!!!! No need for tuk tuks, that what I like about hotel! Location Location Location. I spent a fortune in February on transportation and Tuk Tuks.... Now that money can be spent in better places

Don't stay at poppa pallace unless there are plenty of rooms available. I would hate to call them and say their are no rooms available.
