Nanai Road Apartment
Hi there.
First of all, thank for this forum, that's very interesting.
I'm serching, for August, an apartment located in nanai road... Last years I stay in soi sevatasai (thumdee) - bluesky residence, in jrp hotel - one of my favourite area on nanai hill... Near bluesky I found TOY RESIDENCE which seems to have good apartments, for a good price. Someone knows it? Is it ok? Phuket Hotel, Toy Residence, Patong Beach, Thailand. Accommodation: apartments, suites and rooms for rent
Or maybe do you know some other apartment near there, in soi thumdee... (i like very much that location beause during the night is very quiet!) but not too much up on the nanai hill... ;-)
Always in nanai road...
I've found juno residece apartment, that are nice (one of my firend stay there) they are new and have kitchen, internet, but for 26.000/month !!!
I contact also wet willy's apartment (les cocotiers) but for august they're full.
Do you have any suggestion? any contact, photo, website, number will be appreciated!
have a nice day.
Andrea

Toy residence
Welcome to the forum Agricolo,
I stayed at the Toy Residence on my last 2 tours and found the place perfect for me. Agree with you about staying on Nanai Rd - lots of advantages.
You actually use the pool from Blue Sky and last year they had an arrangement with one of the beach front hotels so you could also use their pool and facilities during the day (Patong Bay Garden Resort IIRC).
Real good value for money, reasonable rooms with own kitchen and balconey, your own entrance so no privacy issues and guest friendly.
Also good deals to be had at Sky for hiring motorbike - think i paid 3k for the month last Oct/Nov.

I can't help you as I have always booked a hotel room, to me the price you stated above seems ok its just 20 euros per day not a big deal of money, you won't find an apartment in riccione for that price will you?

(i like very much that location beause during the night is very quiet!)
Only until about 7.30 in the morning then all manner of banging; sawing and cement mixing wakes us up as there is a new 2-story place being built across from JRP. and it's likely to go on for 3 or 4 months yet. The annoying thing is the gang usually start around 730 and often are gone by 1000 probably to another site.
Plenty of apartments available in Green Papaya where I am for around 12000 a month but they are small studio type...not seperate bedroom.

...why you write next to me? you live in soi thumdee? I like very much that location!
I see the apartments on their website...
they look good place to stay...
but they ask 1,400/day (not specified if low-high-peak season...)
I'm planning to stay in patong 20 days in january (3-24 jan - not yet sure)... but 1400/day is too much for me...
Maybe I'll write an email asking about a good price for my "long" stay...
I like so much that soi... is pretty peacefull. In fact every time I come Phuket I always stay Blue Sky Residence, and one time to JRP.
thanks for your suggestion.

I write next to me because the new Toy Residence apartments have been built alongside the apartments I stay in. It was not peaceful for 3 months while they were building them....but it is quiet again now.

I gave the name of the apartments I'm in in a post above. Green Papaya next to Paddys Inn. I think the rate now is something like 800/night for short stay.

Hey LOS,
I am coming over again in March 08.
Are these apartments suitable for my wife and I and my 2 daughters or too small.

You'd find Green Papaya rooms too small with kids. I've got the largest one with seperate bedroom but the others are all one room and small.

So small? 10mq? 20mq? 25mq? 30mq?
You think maybe in january they have a free standard en-suite?
My favorite (bluesky residence) no have room for my period, and the same for new toy studios...
Maybe I'll write an email to know if they have a free room...
but the smalles are good? clean? (don't like old dirty places...)
thanks
