Anyone know this place ??
G'Day guys,
There is a large open plan restaurant on the junction of Soi Jintana and Rat u Thit. Above this there is a hotel. I remember the guy giving me a flyer for it but I've gone and lost it . Just wondering if anyone knows of it, has a link or any other details. I think it may be called Tiger, the restaurant looked similar to the Tiger complex anyway, but not sure. Any help would be appreciated,
cheers

There's two signs in the pic. One says Pacific Light Hotel, the other says Jintana Hotel, so it is not clear which is the one in that building.
However, the big letters on the building say, "TIGER INN." Might that be the name of the place? Inn, to me, means rooms to let.

Tiger inn.. Built by the current Tiger leasee.. Curious as he should be saving for lease renewal..
Interesting times..
BTW last I heard it was planned to be bars, then pool for 2 floors then 'rooms' possibly ST type. Cant imagine rooms would be desirable above bars and a pool hall for regular stay.

Thats the one. We had a nice meal there, and just queried with the waiter what was above, and its a hotel, room prices from memory sounded ok as well. Just cant find the flyer the waiter gave me. The location is good, I would consider staying there as it would be nice to drop a couple of floors and eat there at night before heading for Bangla.
I've searched tiger everything, and just keep getting tiger airways info and links. I'm bloody hopeless with bits of paper, any more info would be great,

When I was last in Phuket in early-April, this place looked pretty close to being finished. Any updates?

Its finished but not as per the outline above.. Its a resturant / table scene downstairs and that kinda clashes with the design theme..
I have my own ideas about this but will leave it at that.

Do we take it that this place will not have hotel facilities anymore then??. Shame if thats the case as location is ideal.
