Does anyone know of any GF hotels in Kata. I have tried the search function and all of the information seems a little out dated. I realize that most BM stay in Patong but this time I just want to sit on a beach with the GF and relax.

what budget and what time

cc blooms is nice but expensive and we have seen some negative remarks in the recent period seemingly due to new owner.

Little mermaid is a bit a mongers hotel so do you want to take your gf there?

There are several nice hotels in the area, but all depends on your budget and travel period

Thanks everyone. I will be in Thailand from 5-20 July. I got an e-mail back from Kata Poolside Resort. It looks like a good place and there is no joiners fee. I don't really spend that much time in the hotel room anyways.

joinerfee is only if you bring different girl every night, if you check in with gf bno problem

Peach Hill was always ok for me. But I think only when you stay downhill.
Uphill they are not realy happy when you bring a girl in.

When you go in low season, there is no problem with this in thai-managed hotels. We stayed already several times in Diamond Cottage (about 1000 Baht low season, 2 p), very quiet, big pool area and easy to go everywhere, the new bar center of kata is about 5 minutes away.

When you have your gf already, another fine spot is Andaman Cannacia, (about 1400 for 2 incl bf) on top of the boat house. Has a gorgeous view over Kata and Karon Beaches, but very steep to go up there, you need motorbike or good walking shoes.
