toy residence and other questions
Hello
I looked at Toy residence for log term stay, you say $US17 per day but on website says different price?? Lookng cheap place with bath tub and hopefully Internet wi fi Also how long can you stay in Thailand from UK? Best way to get to Phuket from airport? How many Visa atm machines to use card to get money? How easy to get job while there domestic jobs etc? Thanks any help for questions.

1) email them.. Rates will float depending on time of year and occupancy rates.. Market conditions here vary hugely.
2) depends on visa class.. Here >5 years now but arriving with no visa at all will get you a visa exempt stamp good for 30 days, you can then do a 'visa run' to a local country and get another 30 days. You can only stay 90 days on visa exempt stamps within a 180 day period. Of course to stay longer look into getting a tourist visa or non immigrant if you can. 3) The airport is on Phuket !! So do you mean to Patong ?? Or do you mean to Phuket town ?? I woudl say take a taxi but maybe thats too strikingly obvious ?? 4) 100's 5) No

I emailed Toy Residence yesterday not replied yet.
If thats cheap like $17 a day night then probably go there. Want to stay one year really. As you say LivinLOS need different visa for that. By the way what bar is this YouTube - Karon Beach Thailand br gilr dancing Is Karon beach or something?

Places in Thailand often take days to reply..
17 USD is cheap but its not a steal.. Low season rooms are possible in places with maids and pools in the 8k - 10k baht range a month. If you want to stay one year apply to hull for a non immigrant O visa on the basis of visiting friends and family.. You get a 1 year visa (that used carefully can give 15 months of stay) and you have to visa run each 90 days. No idea on the bar as youtube is blocked in Thailand and I am too lazy to run a proxy. Karon Beach is a beach south of Patong but if you searched a little first you would know this.

Use the search function if you have more questions. Just about everything you need to know wil lhave been answered many times before.
As for getting a job, forget it...unless you are a Thai national. Toy Residence is noisy early morning right now. I'm right near it and there's a new 2-storey block going up nearby :-(
