Hotel with best location that is girl friendly.

Hello all..
im planning a vacation to phuket. im looking for great hotel in the middle of everything that is girl friendly. It will be me and my fiancee staying there, we dont plan to have a girl staying with us the whole night, but perhaps have one stop in for an hr or 2 Our budget is wide open.. so im just looking for the best place that fits what i need.
Any suggestions would be great !!
thanks

I agree, go the Summer Breeze, stayed there myself and will be going back, 2 minutes walk from all the action and Bill has the best staff working there. Penthouse suite is the way to go if you don't mind a bit of exercise, it's on the top floor.

Personally if I were traveling with my fiancé I would want a little more vacation feel to the place. (not just a guesthouse ) with a pool…close to the nightlife, but still touristy enough and a short walk from the beach. I would suggest either Salathai Resort or Safari Beach. Check out the reviews for a number of hotels on the accommodation link (top of page)

I think I remember you posting around the same time I joined last year (because you are one of only a few females on this board).

Did you end up going to Phuket last year or is this your first trip?

No, we didnt get to go this year, funds ran short because we had the oppertunity to go to a ufc fight (totally worth it) so we planned the phuket trip for next summer.. giving us a better chance to plan/save.
Im really one of the only girls? I posted on another phuket forum the exact same question and got shot down like i was some crazy sleeze.. i appriciate the ability to ask questions on this forum and not get looked down on for it. I just get answers. Ill keep comming back here
thanks again everyone!!

Have seen your posts on that other forum. It's a family oriented forum that is mainly populated by Australians. Ask more the shopping and resturant questions there. When you say next summer you mean (2008?). Now that's a long wait!

Yeah.. long wait, Looking into June/July or August of next year. Before ill get any real vacation time off work again. But luckily its low season there (anyone able to tell me why?) so it should save us some money on the trip.

Rainy season. When you say WV (West Virgina) you're snookered on good airfares (June,July,August) so wait until the end of August, September or October to travel. You might want to rethink your travel away from the North American summer season unless you have a couple of thousand per head. In September and October you can find cheap flights out of LAX and SFO... Example...I paid $787.00 US from LAX to Phuket return at the end of Sepember. Book at least 5 months ahead though.

If you like heat and humidity then March is good. Hardly any rain except maybe a few evening showers. Still high season for hotel prices though is worth bearing in mind.
