Flights to Shanghai?

Hello all

A friend and I need to travel to Shanghai for 3 days in August. Went to Queen Air booking on Rhat-u-Thit but they were not very helpful, did'nt even know which country Shanghai was in. I have heard that the easiest way is to go to Hong Kong first and then its a short flight to Shanghai, has anyone done this trip before or know any airlines that go there?

You can go with China Eastern from Bangkok.
Or go with Thai.

I don't remember the flight times but I think that Thai flies twice a day to Shanghai.

Dragonair fly to HKT-HKG regularly and HKG-PVG (Shanghai Pudong Airport) as a shuttle almost every hour. Only draw back is Dragonair aren't particularly cheap.

From Phuket you have Dragon Air, Thai, Malaysia, or Silk Air/Singapore Airlines.

Everyway will involve one stop and plane change. Personally I'd go with Thai because of reasonable fare and many flights
