Stayed there for 3 months last year. It's ok but there are far better places for the same money elsewhere. For the money they ask I prefer to have a seperate bedroom. There it feels like you are are living in the bedroom. The kitchen area does not have cooking facility. It is quiet up there though. The hill to get to it is VERY steep. It has a small pool but after about 2pm it's in shade for the rest of the day.

I too was curious about Rattana Hill. During my last two trips, I stayed at the Hilltop Hotel and then Sun Hill. For next year, I would like to spend 2-3 months in an apartment somewhere on the hill overlooking Patong - either on Nanai Rd. or elsewhere.

Any other ideas for better places?
