Nice Hotels in BKK?

Hello,

Will be going to bangkok for the first time this coming July. Me and my buddy are going for a "Boom-Boom Fest". Any recommendations for a nice hotel (preferably with a swimming pool and spa), that is in a prime location? Also, what are the approximate rates?

Planning on getting a hotel once I get there. Of course, don't want to pay too much. Don't want to be stuck in a sleazy hotel, which is not in walking distance from all the bars and BG's.
Any suggestions?

-Jay

Did u ever been to BKK IJ ?
Believe me 3 day is not enough !!
BKK is a paradise for guy who like play pool, shopping ( MBK ,Siam Square,Emporium..etc..), buy software at Pantip Plaza, massage at Wat Po,travel with the sky train around BKK ( full of gorgeous gal ) massage parlor in any corner,1000 girls available in the daytime ( beer garden..), great disco like CM2,Qbar,Bed and i don't talk about Go-go bar, BJ bar, no hands restaurant, clubs, coffee shop, cinema complex, etc...
And if u really need a break, Pattaya is not far.
But i still need to go to patong, every year
If u want meet other girls and others people and see something else
BKK is a good alternative.
U will like it, i'm 100% sure

for me three days to a week is about right for Bangkok, but as i have been there so often now it is a much of a muchness, anyway
try the Ambassador hotel ,its 2 min walk from nana plaza ,has a pool etc and was guest friendly for me .saying that my Bkk lady did stand beside me as i checked in so i guess they might have thought we were a couple.

Staying in Bangkok

Check out the Nana Hotel I think it's what you're looking for.
It's about 1000 baht a night with breakfast and pool. Alot of girls hangout here afterhours.

Or the Abassadors Ok. about the same price.

I found on my 1st trip 5 days was ample in BKK. Now when I go it might just be for a few days at the start or end of my trip.

Hotels... Majestic Suites is a great little hotel around the corner from Nana Plaza. Many BM's stay here and it is a very popular hotel. Although they have not got there own pool or spa you can use the Majestic Grande's facilities, which is about a 5 minute walk away.

Majestic Suites Hotel, Sukhumvit Nana in Bangkok, accommodation hotels Bangkok.
