Yet another hotel recommendation!

Hi Guys,

There's 3 of us arriving in Patong the week after next, Had a look
through the other hotel threads but still cant decide on a suitable hotel.
I know the summer breeze is highly recommended here and it sounds
lovely but not having a Pool on site is a bit of a bummer really.

We're looking for a nice clean hotel
a) close to bangla/beach, 5 mins walk max
b) guest friendly
c) nice pool onsite
d) safe deposit box in room
e) in the price range up to 1200 baht
f) if possible somewhere with a balcony to chill out

any suggestions much appreciated

Thanks

That's a positive about the Summer Breeze.
On my first trip I stayed at Horizon Beach Resort......Not a bad hotel indeed.
However there was a pool & it was probably 20ft away from my room.
Every morning around 9.00am I was awoken by the activity that was happening around the pool & that sucked.
It wasn't so much the kids.......More like the pensioners that were early risers & sat around & waffled on.

Summer Breeze guests have access to the Baan Benjamas Pool.........90 secs walk.
SB Staff will give you towels & a free voucher.
My 73yo mother & 11yo nephew used it every day & they stayed at SB too.
You have the deckchairs there & umbrellas, also cold drinks & hot food available.
Also, no Germans can reserve their chairs the night before!!

You could add K&N Guesthouse to that list. Its under the budget, very nice pool, in-room safes and close to Bangla

KN Guest House, perfect comfort and location, Phuket Island

thanks guys,

tropica bungalow looks pretty good so i emailed them.

quick question

the rate with the hotel is 1300 baht
the rate on passion asia is 1100 baht

is there any catch with no booking with the hotel direct? i.e. if we
book with passion asia or some other discount website will we be stuck
in the crapiest rooms? or is there any difference?

thanks
